Due to the impending storm and the weather reports looking dismal for this Sunday, (rain & high winds) we have decided to CANCEL the Harvest Market this coming Sunday, October 12th, 2025 at Sakonnet Vineyard. We are bummed about it, but need to keep everyone safe. There will not be ANY market that Sunday.
Consider coming to our Garlic Roast Event next Sunday, October 19th back at our winter location. Tiverton Middle School at 10 quintal drive, Tiverton, RI, 10am-2pm. More info on events page.

NEW LOCATION for 2025. We are excited to invite you to the highly anticipated Harvest Market at a new location this year! Join us at Sakonnet Vineyard in Little Compton, RI, on Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This event marks the vineyard's 50th anniversary weekend and combines a vibrant specialty farmers market with a delightful community gathering. We are committed to making this year's event even more memorable. Prepare for over 75 incredible vendors showcasing fresh foods, artisanal products, fine art, and unique handmade goods.

In addition to shopping, immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere with live music from talented local artists that will provide a perfect soundtrack for your afternoon. Acoustic music sessions in the barn will feature:

- Justin Sampson Acoustics - 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM
- Anderson-Gram Duo - 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Our “Tent Talks” return on Sunday, where local experts will share insights on topics like beekeeping, regenerative farming practices, the history of the vineyard, winemaking, and more.
11am - 12pm ~ Bee Keeping with Lynn Davignon of the Rhode Island Beekeepers Association. "All About Honey Bees - who lives in the hive and what happens during the different seasons".
12pm - 1pm - Fruit of the Gods: A Beginner’s Guide to Figs with Sandy of FigMamma Farms
1pm - 2pm - Winemaking at Sakonnet Vineyard with James Davids
2pm - 3pm - Regenerative Farming Practices at Sakonnet Vineyard
Enjoy delicious offerings from local food trucks and the vineyard café. The Gnarly Truck and MaCray’s Seafood Truck will be located on the lawn area near the market square.
Additional activities around the vineyard include:
- Make your own flower bouquet at the Little Compton Flowers booth.
- A Communi-Tea talk and demonstration with Maggie's Healing Path at 12:00 PM, where you can learn about the plants in your cup.
- Build-your-own plant bar with terrarium plants offered by Walnut Plain Gardens - Your Neighborhood Plant Stand.
- Hay Maze in the north field.
- Wine and food from Sakonnet Vineyard’s café.
- Vineyard boutique in the barn, featuring vineyard merchandise, wine glasses and more.
- Self-guided walking tours around the 169-acre vineyard.
- Alpaca Square—meet and greet the alpacas from Kave Rock Farm from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
